Tsavo is in Kenya close to the city of Mombasa located near Voi Town in Taita Taveta County. It comprises of two National Park which is separated by the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway including the railway line passing though the middle of the park. It is Unique and special because the park hosts a Rare Red Dusted Elephant which cannot be seen anywhere in the world but roam freely in large numbers. The park is operated by Kenya Wildlife Service.
Overview
This Wilderness Safari brings you to an up-close adventure with wildlife in this scorching habitant. The Tsavo River flows west to east through the national park. Tsavo East National Park is generally flat, with dry plains. Most of the park consists of semi-arid grasslands and savanna. Tsavo West National Park is more mountainous and wetter, with swamps, Lake Jipe and the Mzima Springs. It is known for birdlife and for its large mammals.
